The Tulsa Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (TAHCC) is the new name of the Hispanic Small Business Association, which operated from 2021 to 2023. In January 2024, the Association transformed into a Chamber of Commerce to champion the vibrant Hispanic/Latinx business community. In partnership with The UMA Center Inc. and other ecosystem partners such as Tulsa Tech and 36 Degrees North, TAHCC provides two cohort-based entrepreneurship boot camps, business classes, technical assistance, and annual events to promote entrepreneurs and small business owners. Since 2021, TAHCC and its partners have served over 300 entrepreneurs and small business owners.
TAHCC's Board of Directors is composed of Tomas Barrientos, Chair; Ken McConnell, CPA PC, Treasurer; and members Jhoanna Astudillo, Luis F. Valera, and Cynthia Jasso. Dr. Martha Isabel Zapata, PhD, is the chamber's President and CEO.
